What Is the Back 2 School Team Transformation Challenge?

B2S Team Challenge is our annual “Get Back On Track Now that Summer is Ending” transformation contest. This is a great opportunity to focus in, stay accountable and get some work done. Although we do other challenges throughout the year this is our only team challenge! We see amazing results with all of our transformation challenges but this one has a high level of accountability and camaraderie as well!

Here’s How It Works

The B2S Team Challenge is for 5 member teams. You will need to find a partners, each team must include one non-member but if you don’t have one, don’t worry! THIS IS IMPORTANT EITHER WAY: After you register you will receive an email with a link to the “Team” form. Just type in “need a partner” when you fill out that form and we will find you someone to team up with. If you do have a partners then you will fill in their name and your team name.  This contest is all about teamwork, lifting each other up and helping each other out. You can only win the contest if all partners give it all they got!  The winning team will be based on the following:

2016 B2S Scoring Criteria

1.)  Habit Performance

Habit Catalyst is our NEW nutrition education and accountability tool. Every day you will receive an email asking you if you completed your habit for yesterday, along with a lesson to help you build those great nutrition habits. Around 50% of the scoring for the contest will depend on you checking in daily and get the habits done. You can go back and read the lessons at any time, but you cannot go back to check of your habit.

2.)  Body Transformation

We will track starting and ending weight.

3.)  Performance

All participants will have a starting fitness assessment and work towards improving some of our basic movements.  Extra fitness activities during the challenge will help each client get stronger and move faster for the end of challenge fitness assessment.

And, How does my Team Win?

Scoring Habit Points
You earn points for your team based on your percentage of daily habit tracking compliance using Habit Catalyst. Each team members score will be calculated, and then the team will be awarded the average. Here’s the scale:

90% or greater compliance = 100 points
80 – 89% = 80 points
70 – 79% = 70 points
60 – 69% = 60 points
50 – 59% = 50 points
<50% = 0 points
Here’s an example:

Bruce achieves a compliance score of 92%  = 100 points
Wayne achieves a compliance score of 78% = 70 points
The team would score the average = 85 points


Scoring Body Transformation Points

You earn 10 points per every percentage of weight lost. Each team members weight score will be calculated, and then the team will be awarded the average.

Here’s an example:

Bruce has a starting weight of 200 pounds and ending weight of 190,  this is a 5% loss for a total of 50 points.   Wayne has a starting weight of 150 pounds and an ending weight of 135, this is a 10% loss for a total of 100 points.

The team weight score average = 75 points


Scoring Performance Points

You earn 1 point per every second dropped from the starting fitness assessment to the ending fitness assessment. Each team members time score will be calculated, and then the team will be awarded the average.

Bruce starting fitness assessment took 15 minutes and his ending fitness assessment took 12:30 minutes. He decreases his time by 2:30 or 150 seconds for a total of 150 points.

Wayne starting fitness assessment took 11 minutes and his ending fitness assessment took 10 minutes. He decreases his time by 1:00 minute or 60 seconds for a total of 60 seconds.

The team performance score average = 105 points


So what would “Team Batman’s” Final Score be: 85 habit points + 75 results points +105 performance points = 265 total points. Can you beat that? 🙂
