I was quiet yesterday because I was getting my annual colonoscopy.  For those of you that don’t know me that well, I was diagnosed with colon cancer in late 2010.  I had surgery, chemo, radiation and then 2 more surgeries and have been cancer free since.  However, I have Lynch Syndrome, which is a genetic issue, like rogue DNA
that links to early colon cancer and endometrial cancers.  So I am one of the lucky ones who gets to have a colonoscopy every year!  When I say lucky, I mean it.  It is way better than the alternative.

GOOD NEWS!  I passed.  I’m good for another year!

Even through all of that I still worked out –very modified—of course and it really got me even more in touch with good nutrition which has really helped me become a way better coach to all of you!

Anyway, enough about me.

I promised I would be back to you with another little something extra…….. here goes.
